The Range

The Outdoor Living range

Four ways we help Essex homeowners get more out of the space around the house — from a fully insulated garden room to a deck that finally gets used after dark.

Garden Rooms & Studios

Insulated, year-round rooms at the bottom of the garden — home office, gym, bar or guest space. We also convert and re-glaze existing outbuildings.

Verandas, Canopies & Glassrooms

Covered outdoor space, from a slim door canopy to a glass-roofed veranda to a fully enclosed glassroom.

Composite Decking & Lighting

Low-maintenance composite decking with built-in lighting, so the garden carries on after sunset.

Garage Doors

Insulated roller and sectional doors that tidy up the front elevation.

Garden Rooms & Studios

A proper room. Just at the bottom of the garden.

An insulated, year-round garden room — used as a home office, gym, garden bar or extra living space. Anthracite aluminium or composite cladding, large picture windows and sliding doors, integrated lighting, finished to sit naturally in the garden rather than stick out of it. No planning permission and no Building Regs in almost every case, so the build is quicker and cleaner than an extension — most are on site for two to four weeks, fully wired, lit and ready to use.

Already got a tired outbuilding or garage at the bottom of the garden? We convert and re-glaze existing buildings too — new doors, windows and a watertight finish (see the before-and-afters below).

What's included

  • Insulated floor, walls and roof — usable year-round
  • Anthracite aluminium or composite cladding
  • Large picture windows and sliding doors
  • Full first- and second-fix electrics and integrated lighting
  • Internal finish to a habitable standard
  • No planning or Building Regs in almost every case
  • 10-year structural guarantee

Verandas, Canopies & Glassrooms

Cover for the patio — light, or full.

Three levels of covered outdoor space. A canopy is the quickest — a slim, neat cover over a back door, French doors or BBQ area, fitted in a day or two. A veranda is the next step up: a permanent, structural cover with a toughened-glass or solid roof, integrated lighting and optional heaters, turning a patio you use three weekends a year into outdoor seating you'll use most evenings from April to October. A glassroom is the full version — fully enclosed and glazed, with sliding glass walls that fold back in summer and seal up in winter. Halfway between a veranda and a conservatory, with neither the planning nor the Building Regs.

What's included

  • Aluminium frame in any RAL colour to match house frames
  • Toughened safety glass or solid insulated roof
  • Integrated LED lighting on a switch or remote
  • Optional infrared heaters and side screens
  • Sliding glass walls on glassrooms
  • Rainwater drainage built into the frame
  • 10-year structural guarantee

Composite Decking & Lighting

A garden that gets used after dark.

Composite decking that doesn't rot, splinter or need oiling every spring — finished with integrated and ambient lighting so the garden carries on being used once the sun's gone. Deck-level uplighters, step lights, festoon and post-top lighting, all wired in cleanly and controllable from the house. Designed alongside the planting so the whole garden reads as one scheme.

What's included

  • Premium composite deck boards — no rot, no annual treating
  • Sub-frame engineered for level and longevity
  • Integrated deck and step lighting
  • Ambient garden lighting — uplighters, festoon, post lights
  • All wiring run cleanly and controllable from the house
  • Tidied and planted to finish

Garage Doors

Tidy up the front elevation.

Insulated roller and sectional garage doors in white or anthracite, colour-matched to the property so the front of the house reads cleanly. Remote-controlled, well sealed on all four sides, and fitted by our own team in a day in most cases.

What's included

  • Insulated roller or sectional door
  • White or anthracite — colour-matched to the property
  • Remote-controlled motor with manual override
  • Weather seals on all four sides
  • Fitted in a day in most cases
  • Manufacturer guarantee plus our install warranty
